Hello, my name is Charlie Pogue. I’m a mixed media artist based out of Knoxville TN. My work is mix of symbolism and expressionism. I use symbols to communicate universal but abstract ideas and expressionism allows me to imbue them with feeling and emotion. The imagery in my work is not there to convey any narrative; but, instead to create open ended meaning and point to larger concepts.
